Jasmine's Bath and Beauty Products
Our goal is to give you quality products that are designed to hydrate dry, thirsty, hair and skin and keep it healthy and strong. We specialize in kinky, curly haircare for men, women, and children. Our haircare company was created when we were unable to find commercial products to suit the specific needs of our hair. Commercial products that are geared towards ethnic haircare are greasy and or oily and leave our hair in a constant cycle of dryness and breakage. Our products are not designed to weigh your hair down with synthetic oils and heavy grease. Our bath and body products are designed to keep your skin smooth and your lips soft. We are constantly looking for new formulas and ways to satisfy our customers. We welcome any feedback or ideas that you may have. Customer satisfaction is our priority. LONGHAIRCAREFORUM AND NAPPTURALITY

I love these two forums...they have women sharing ideas and suggestions and discussing everything from health and beauty to motherhood and pregnancy, politics and entertainment.
There is a lot of information out there and you can spend hours learning new things from women all across the country. Nappturality prefers that you wear your natural hair and the site has information to help support you in your natural haircare journey. Longhaircareforum welcomes you whether you are relaxed, natural, texturized or transitioning.

HAIR CONDITIONING TREATMENTS

There are several ways to condition your hair. If your hair is dry and tangled a pre conditioning treatment can soften hair and make detangling easier. Apply a thick creamy conditioner to dry hair before shampooing. You can also use an oil instead of conditioner. Cover the hair with a plastic cap and hot towel and leave on for 20 minutes or more if you have the time. If your hair is tangled now is the time to slowly detangle the hair in small sections. After all of your hair has been detangled wet the hair thoroughly to remove the conditioner then proceed with your normal routine of shampooing and conditioning. If you don't use shampoo you can proceed with your normal co washing routine. If you've used oil to pre condition your hair some find that rinsing with water immediately after causes tangles. In this case you may want to apply a cheap conditioner over the oil first then rinse and proceed with your normal routine.

Another way to deep condition your hair is to apply a generous amount of conditioner to clean damp hair. I apply my conditioners in sections then smooth it through to make sure that all of the hair is thoroughly covered. With coarse thick hair like mine it works better when you work the conditioner through the strands creating a heat as opposed to slapping it on and letting it sit on top of the hair. After the hair has been coated you can use several methods depending on the amount of time that you have. Try to do this for a min of 20 minutes then rinse.
Tip: Always follow deep protein treatments with a moisturizing conditioner for a min of 15 minutes.

Hair Steamer - you can find deals on ebay it (creates moist heat for the conditioner to penetrate)

Hair dryer- any beauty supply store (use a plastic cap and sit under a dome dryer)

Heating Cap- Mastex heat caps are my favorite heating cap for deep treatments I buy online

Hot towel Method- cover the hair with a plastic cap then wrap a hot towel over it and cover that with another plastic cap(Sally Beauty turbie twist towels are great)

Steam room or Sauna- At your favorite gym treat yourself and your hair to the steam room or sauna while your hair is covered with conditioner

Summer Sun Method- We all know that It's hot outside. Put a plastic cap on your head while it's soaked in conditioner (or wrap it in saran wrap) and cover with your favorite summer hat or fashionable scarf and sit out in the sun. Great way to condition while you're on the beach.
